Celebrating the Heroism That Makes Our Community Work

The heroism that makes our community work happens in many ways. These heroes aren’t always firefighters or police officers or first responders (although they often are). They may be a neighbor who shovels sidewalks for the entire block, a teacher who goes above and beyond for students, a restaurant server who knows just what you like or a garbage and recycling worker who keeps our environment safe and clean. The heroism that makes our community works isn’t always seen or celebrated. But it’s important to celebrate the heroes around us, especially during these times of change and challenge.

The Battery and Northwell are proud to recognize local community heroes supported by the foundation, who will receive four (4) tickets and in-game recognition. We encourage fans to submit a hero for consideration by completing the Community Hero Award Application on Eventpasshero – our free ticketing platform for nonprofits and their supporters.
